If the government takes away our guns would it really reduce gun violence? A highly debated topic among many Americans. Many people believe that it will not reduce gun violence. Then there are the others who strongly agree that if the government takes away our guns, there will be no more gun violence. This is a highly debated topic that is being discussed every day. It is clearly in the interests of children and families to reduce gun violence in the United States. People are saying that it is your choice not the guns. It comes down to you not the gun. It the person that own the gun not the gun. I am believe strongly for this topic of the debate. Gun-control laws are unconstitutional because they violate the Second Amendment. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” There are saying they have the rights through the amendments. Which is true, it clearly states through the amendments that they have there right. This is the most strong statement there is really because it is in the amendments.
