First and foremost , this presidential election will go down as one that had the biggest impact on people of all origins and backgrounds in the United States. Many illegal aliens are in fear of what can possibly happen if immigration laws become more stringent and have a negative impact on their future. Immigration is a topic frequently discussed , especially in presidential elections. It sometimes affects the candidates’ voter’s views on who would really create a solution to this problem and what actions have to be taken. Illegal aliens continue to be a controversial topic in America , starting with how many there really is , where they are coming from and how nations from around the world are dealing with this issue.

While most of illegal immigration laws vary from one country to the next ; “ it is a common requirement in almost every nation that aliens carry some form of documentation that proves their legal status in that country” (Gale In fact , nations have prompted their government to take radical actions ,such as mass deportations and incarceration, to stop the surge of immigrants .Borders between neighboring countries , like the United States and Mexico , are patrolled at all hours of the day by high-tech surveillance , that only makes it more difficult to cross the border for illegal aliens. However , other countries have provided amnesty program for illegal aliens. “ Those who favor amnesty see it as a moral and economic imperative” (Gale , 2 ) .
