A current global issue I consider important has to do with the flow of Latino immigration into the United States. Latino immigration into the United States has increased over the last couple years and researchers state it will continue to increase. Latino immigration occurs for various reasons and it occurs both through documented and undocumented methods. Recently, there has been plenty of headlines addressing the issues of undocumented Latino immigration. However, I believe that these headlines do not always address the entirety of the situation. Undocumented immigrants from Latin America are typically seen as criminals, but many people fail to see them as the refugees they really are. Many risk a dangerous journey into the The United States because they are desperately fleeing from the poverty, hunger, or violence in their native towns. Many undocumented immigrants from Latin America flee into The United States simply looking for work and better opportunity for themselves and their families. In the past there have been various immigration reforms that have been proposed but never passed or carried out. This only leads on the hopes of many undocumented families and it causes them to pressure the government for change. I believe if we at least put into action a new immigration reform that benefits both undocumented immigrants residing here and the security of the nation then a distinct movement in the flow of immigration would ensue. I strongly believe that the most inefficient way to go about solving global issues is by either doing nothing or doing the same thing that has not worked in previous years. Thus, my proposed solution for the Latino immigration issue would be to simply change a factor for the current immigration
