Dear U.S. Congress,
Immigrants in the United States have come illegally since 1882. This started when the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 set to keep out the Chinese. Later, in the same year, the Immigration Act was set for all immigrants. The Washington Examiner, an American political journalism website, states that eighty-nine percent of illegal immigrants arrested already have a criminal record. Seventy-two percent were guilty of their crimes. Many of them either went into hiding or never showed up at their deportation hearings. Illegal immigrants in the United States need to be deported back to their earlier home. They could be a danger to citizens and did not go through the process of becoming a citizen. As a result of illegals, American citizens may be harmed.

Illegal immigrants do not serve a purpose in this country, they just harm it through dangerous crimes. Although there is just as likely chance that people will be harmed by legal citizens, there are less crimes if illegals are not there. It is also true that it is hard to find out if immigrants have a good, honest personality.Through questioning neighbors and employers, we can find out if this is or is not true. For those who say that illegal immigrants have a role in the country than what is it? Yes, some illegal immigrants have American ties, such as having their son, daughter, or spouse as a legal citizen. However, that is no excuse for them to not attempt to get citizenship.Therefore, there is absolutely no excuse for illegal immigrants to not get deported or get
