Every year 700,000 illegal immigrants come to the Immigration refers to the migration (moving) of people from one place to another. An illegal immigrant indicates a person who has crossed the national borders of the United States in violation of US immigration and nationality laws. Illegal immigrants have reasons to cross, whether it’s to reunite with family, get a better job, to explore, or just to have a better life - it’s ILLEGAL. There are also people who enter the US LEGALLY - these people can stay because they have a VISA and/or Green Card. People who are classified as ILLEGAL, have no documentation, take identity, or cross the border (literally).
People have been migrating for hundreds of thousands of years from one place to another. About 80,000 - 60,000 years ago, modern humans started to spread out from Africa. Back then, humans would migrate because of climate change. (add more!!)About 12,000 years ago, we were on every continent but Antarctica. People have been migrating for a long time and very quickly humans made it to every (almost) continent. This has been a growing problem for the government since the 1900’s. The Government annually spends about $18 billion on immigration enforcement. Illegal immigration/disruptive elements have endangered our national security. The illegal immigrants have stolen $125 billion in taxpayer resources. 7% of K-12 students have undocumented parents and 6% of aliens use the hospital when sick. The US citizens are affected because the illegal immigrants are stealing their jobs, decreasing wages, (etc!!!). Many US citizens lose their property, security, loss in taxpayer resources, and even in some cases, their lives. Immigrants come to the US because it’s a land of new beginnings.
