Ever since the revolution against the British in 1776, the United States of America has been proclaimed a “free” country. Free as in to do whatever a citizen would want to do, for example, a citizen could proclaim any property or create a business he would want to mast mind. Unfortunately, there are many items or habits within The United States that are prohibited; in other words, the freedom has been restricted from the people. One particular item or “plant” is Marijuana. Keeping it in consideration that this country is a free country, Marijuana should be legalized throughout the country in every state.

For example: Alcohol, alcohol is one of the main causes if domestic violence to children or women. Also, alcohol is also one of the main causes of car accidents and alcohol is one of the leading causes of death. Over 2.5 million people die from alcohol use in many different variations. Furthermore, another legal substance that causes death is smoking. Smoking is one of the most addicted and body corrupting legal substances on this planet. Statistics show that over 6 million people are killed smoking constantly; also, statistics show that smoking kills over 600,000 people you secondary smoke. The government allows further domestic violence and further deaths by allowing alcohol use and smoking. However, the government still restricts the use of marijuana. But marijuana has no risks in health, and is said to cause the body to be more resistant to cancer. However, some people blame some rare car collisions on marijuana though there were other substances involved when the collision happened.
