Legalize marijuana for medical and recreational use “There are 26 States with pending marijuana legislation, both medical and legal. 8 of these states have a legitimate chance to legalize recreational use.” (Green 5) Shocking isn’t it? When one thinks upon the subject of marijuana we have so many negative connotations relating to it. But in reality, a whopping 52% of Americans support the legalization of marijuana while only 45% are opposed. Despite what you may have been to believe, no one in the history of mankind has ever overdosed due to marijuana, however it is still illegal. Marijuana should be legalized for medical and recreational use in all fifty states. It seems that today, when it comes to marijuana people quickly glance over and positive affect and focus on any negative thing they can obtain.
