The newest branch and biggest outbreak in addiction is marijuana. It is claimed to be the gateway drug to larger more dangerous drugs. Those who have become linked to the drug, their motor and capability skills become limited and altered. The operation of the person becomes very distorted. As marijuana is inhaled the chemicals go straight to the brain and gives the person the feel of being “high”. The high feeling muddles with the neurons within the brain making them send unnecessary signals throughout the body that causes disruption with the skills being acted on at hand.
