Though the consumption of alcohol is legal for people over 21, its dangerous consequences are present just as much if not more than any other drug. Drinking alcohol is legal yet drunk driving is not and yet the country is still looking for ways to prevent this problem. Moreover, the fact that drunk driving exists leads to believe that driving under the influence of marijuana does to. Therefore, due to the upsurge in legalization of marijuana it follows that there will be a rise in intoxicated drivers due to marijuana.
