Marijuana is the most public used drug in the United States. However, it has the distinct difference of being both a usually used illegal substance and also a legally prescribed medical substance in the United States. I am a strong believer in the legalization of Marijuana. This prescribed drug has been proven to not only help certain medical conditions but can cure and prevent Alzheimer and Glaucoma, it can also contribute to relieving stress, anxiety, depression, the drug has the ability that slows down tumor growth, and helps relieve pain for chemo and radiation therapy patients as well. If legalized, marijuana can be taxed which produce billions of dollars every year in profit which in return would help our nation get out of so much debt. Cannabis farms can be set up as well, and growing, and collecting marijuana can become a profession, therefore, lowering the joblessness rate.
