Americans today tend to relate the word marijuana with crime, illegal drugs, and an inappropriate style of life, but have we stopped and consider that the assumptions made might not be very accurate? Although many people use marijuana for illegal purposes, marijuana can also be used in various of positive ways. Marijuana should be legalized because it not only helps for medical purposes, it also helps raise taxes, and helps reduce crime rates and traffic fatalities. Daily articles, blogs, and economic journalist openly express that legalizing marijuana is not an insane proposal and has been approve by several states in the United States already and has been a very successful decision.
