After the Syrian Civil War in 2011, about 4 million Syrians have left the country. The last refugee crisis of such a magnitude had happened after World War II. Some European countries agreed to to take a few millions of refugees who had bagged for salvation. There were such countries as Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon. SInce the war has begun, the United States accepted over 2,000 refugees and the President Obama gave a word to take more 10,000 in early 2016. But by November, 2015 a terrifying news flew all over the world. A group of terrorists blew themselves up just inside a central shopping mall in the midtown of Paris. There were hundreds of killed and under one thousand injured. This tragic incident frightened all the world’s community and created lots of controversy concerning Syrian immigrants. Democrats stand in that the US have to continue accepting refugees as they are not terrorists but their main victim. They say that the biggest part of them are children and they just want to be saved and have peaceful life. Hillary Clinton (2015) says “We cannot allow terrorists to intimidate us into abandoning our values and humanitarian obligations. Turning away orphans, applying a religious test, discriminating against Muslims, slamming the door on every single Syrian refugee—that's just not who we are.
