Teenagers underage drinking has been the largest social issue in today’s society. In today’s world almost 10 million people through the ages of 12 and 20 underage drink. The alcohol drinking age should be changed to when considered as an adult. Has the law gotten stricter over the years about underage drinking? Not everything in the law is helpful to us the people. “The current law, passed in all 50 states in the 1980’s was intended to diminish the number of traffic deaths caused by young drunk drivers. It has succeeded in that but tougher seatbelts and DUL rules have contributed to the decrease too. The world is so twisted now of days nothing makes sense. “It's simple, 18 for war? But 21 for a good time, no” Teenagers can join war and go die at war but can't have a good time in a bar or a public place where they serve alcohol. Teenagers can never have a drink with a dad who follows the law .“Age 18 traditionally separates minors from adults. But one can't legally buy a drink in America until age 21. Meanwhile, many states are now sending minors into the adults criminal justice system, even for nonviolent crimes”. Teenager’s are growing up to be independent and usually hang out with friends who are there age. There's a lot of states sending teenagers to adults criminal justice for drinking but if they are consider to be an adult why aren't they allowed to drink a beer. Lowering the drinking age to 18 would make drinking way much safer and easier. The government over exaggerated the drinking age which causes more people to abuse it. “If the legal age was lowered i think it would be less abused, but there also needs to be proper education”. I think if the age was lowered they would be less abused because they would buy it instead of adults and see that there money is running low. The government should educate us by telling having a limit on how much beer an underage drinker can
