Schools should not start later. There are many reasons why they should not. Three reasons why schools should not start later are,the school day will end later,transportation would be hard,and there is health risks at state. It costs millions of dollars to buy more buses, and people rather not use the money on school buses when it could finance another field. Some kids also don 't want later school times, saying it interferes with "after-school jobs, athletics, or other extracurricular activities.

Teens should get 9-10 hours of sleep per night so that they can do their very best during the day. If we had late start school, then students could do better in school and then that could affect their entire life. Why do schools start early if there are no benefits?

Teens struggle through the challenge of waking up very early in the morning so that they can be at school at the right time. Research implies that teens should get at least eight to nine hours of night sleep for their good health. Nevertheless, by being able to sleep more before school starts, students will be able to become well rested, more attentive in classroom settings, and perform better as learners.
Changing school start times has proved to be beneficial towards students learning. The National Sleep Foundation, says, “Young people who do not get enough sleep night after night carry a significant risk for drowsy driving” and then continues to say students achieve “lower overall performance in everything from academics to athletics.” If school started later and we got home around the same time, then we could get an extra hour of sleep. That extra hour of sleep could be very beneficial for students. That is just one way, pushing back school start times could be advantageous.
Teens need at least 8 to 10 hours a sleep a night. If they don't get that sleep they get grump really easily. School have taken notes about how kids sleep. They learn way better when a wake. In some schools this is why they started later.

Schools should have a later start time. A lot of people will argue that that the start time of schools is good as is right now. In my opinion, there are several reasons as to why schools should start later. Kids/Teenagers function better later in the day rather that early in the morning, it would improve attendance of schools, and the most important meal of the day.
I feel as if High school students should go to school later, but continue to get out before or at 2:00. I choose this because most High School students have practice, jobs, and homework. Teenagers bodies do not function until typically after first period and or during first period. Students would have more accurate and better attendance and grades. High School students would develop in class information better if school started at a later time.
One other reason why school should start later is because it is more convenient. In the first place it’s better for one’s health. In order for your body to grow and develop you have to get enough sleep. If you do not get enough sleep it will lower the immune system and increase one’s chances of getting ill.
