Summer break, ahhhh, time for relaxing and chilling without waking up at 6:00 in the morning. Sounds relaxing, Right? Well some schools don’t get summer break. They have an all year round calendar where January is the beginning and december is the ending of the school year, sounds long right? Well I dont think its healthy for the students or teachers. Schools should stick to the traditional school calendar mainly because, All of the stress that is caused from children not getting a long break from school is not healthy. It can impact the way they will work either in college or the real world when they get a job. They won’t have a very healthy social life, If they have all of that school time they will really only have weekends for personal time. All of the stress and anxiety from school work can easily lead to a depressed state and can potentially be difficult to fall out of.
