People come to zoos to see animals in person. Visitors want to see animals that are not just in photographs. There isn’t necessarily a scientific purpose for people visiting zoos. In the article “Zoos: Animal Prisons” it concludes, “Study after study has shown that most zoo visitors only spend a few minutes—sometimes just seconds—at each display and walk away having learned little or nothing about the animals” (1). Animals in zoos are used to satisfy and entertain visitors.
Zoos have always been something that families love and kids look forward to going to. Kids learn about the animals and the habitats and enjoy the entertainment. It is a great experience for people, but not for the animals. Zoos are downright cruel to Animals. Animals our forced to live in an unreal stressful, and boring conditions.
Animals at zoos are regularly sold, bought, traded or borrowed. Many people at zoos through stuff at these animals or poke them to make the animals mad. Zoos are holding endangered species primarily as a tourist attraction. When you go into a zoo you can sometime see some animals look unhappy. Many animals don't like the bright flash of light when people are taking pictures of these animals.
For the rest of the places, animals need to be returned to or left in their natural habitats. Zoos are often viewed as fun and entertaining due to the different kinds of animals. They are always showing off, looking happy and healthy. What one may not notice is what happens behind the scenes, or maybe in plain sight.
Zoos Should Be Banned Imagine you are five years old, someone breaks into your home, kills your aunt and possibly your older brother in the process of kidnapping you. You are separated from your loved ones, leaving your mother in severe pain and grief. You are taken somewhere unknown, imprisoned in a cell where people come watch you for their own entertainment.
Best friends, sisters, brothers, parents, and even sons and daughters have all fallen victim to accidents caused by texting while driving. It is amazing how something as simple as a text message can drastically affect someone’s entire life. Texting while driving is an extremely dangerous act because it takes the driver’s attention away from the road. In attempt the minimize the accidents different states created different laws to ban texting and driving. Kansas is one of the 46 states that created a texting and driving law.
Many argue that zoos are cruel places where animals are held against their will for our amusement. But this is simply not true. Zoos provide an environment where the general public as well as scientists can learn about
This argument is split into three main viewpoints, the opinion that zoos harm animals, the opinion that zoos save endangered species, and a mix between the two. Viewpoint number three is more of a critique how zoos are good places where bad things happen and should be reformed. Each option has its own individual pros and cons but a reform of zoos and their standards would be the most economical for zoos and aquariums and this method would also be the least harmful and less stressful for the animals involved. The care and wellbeing of the animals involved should be the number one priority of all groups and by cutting back on over breeding, the phasing out of lager animals that naturally roam large distances, and creating environments that’s sole purpose is to educate people, zoos can become a better place for people and animals
Oh no you have just been shot by a tranquilizer dart and you 're put in a truck and you never see your friends and family ever again. Well that 's what happens when animals go to zoos. Zoos are harmful to animals. To begin with, Animals aren 't getting the right diet when they live in zoos. Also, animals are not getting the right amount of space.
Although zoos are keeping some animals from extinction, they are also taking away the survival skills from animals, forced matting for animals, and they are keeping the animals in a cage. Zoos should let some animals out to live and keep the ones that are going extinct. Allowing endangered animals to live in protected environments to let them mate is not a catchall to fix all the issues when protecting an animal that is going extinct. Zoos are taking away survival skills the animal needs in the wild. When animals are in zoos, their ability to hunt and their natural diet is decreased.
Zoos Many people believe that zoos should be shut down, because they are just like animal prison. Many researches show that zoos should be shut down. Many reasons why are one animals should be left where they belong. Next, zoo’s have unsuitable climate and environment for the animals.
“There are now 41,415 species on the IUNC red list, and 16.306 of them are endangered species threatened with extinction” (“Endangered”). In other word, zoos are places that can make that number of endangered animals drastically drop. People should support zoos. They protect animal species that will soon go extinct, and they give endangered animals a chance to repopulate.
But that is not the actual purpose of the zoo and it is rare to see those types of zoos. All in all, with the continuing global threats to the atmosphere it is hard for individuals to visualize zoos as something apart from being essential to the long-term survival of various species. Not just in terms of protecting them and breeding them for reintroduction, but to learn regarding them to assist those still within the wild, as well as to educate and inform the general public about these animals and their world: to pique their interest so they will assist or at least accept the necessity to be more environmentally aware. Sure there are many possibilities for improvement, but these benefits are essential to several species and potentially at least. Without zoos, the world would be a much poorer place.
Zoos are places where animals are put on displays and where they have to live their entire life. People can visit zoos for money and watch animals like they are in some kind of television show or commercial program what is done for people only. People have to notice that zoos are not people entertainment. It is seems like animals in zoos should be free and live in wildlife where they belong.
Zoos play a role in educating people about animals and play an important part in animal conservation. While much information on animals is available through printed materials and the Internet, it's way much better being near them seeing what they actually are. Many people lack the means to travel to the native habitats of most animals, however, zoos bring animals from many different climates and locations together in one place. For many people as well, the experience of being close to these animals has more impact than simply reading about them. This experience often gives them sympathy for animals that they may
