I am writing to you in hopes that I might advise you to look more deeply into the importance of homeless people. I strongly believe that we should start community wide programs like schools, and part time jobs. On the site www.huffingtonpost.com states, “The city’s police department gave out more than 12,000 citations to homeless people between January 2013 and early October of this year, the San Antonio Current reported.” I realize that San Antonio Texas has a huge complication with homeless and every effort is being made to keep the off our streets, but I believe that they are a major recurrence and we can not keep them off our streets. Do you not agree that the homeless are a problem? What do we do about their appearance through the world? If the San Antonio police do not do anything what should the people do? I am afraid that without the police doing anything, we have to deal with the homeless and them suffering. Already San Antonio, which includes the donations they get and being in the way by sitting or laying in one's presence. …show more content…

It in our nature to be respect or just ignore them. I agree that the problem needs to be addressed . The only problem is deciding whether to choose to have a conversation or just plain ignore the homeless. I believe San Antonio police department; have been doing every possible situation that is assigned to them concerning the homeless. If the San Antonio police did not citation the homeless there would be a big outbreak of homeless roaming our streets. If we as the people can not deal with the homeless then give them jobs. I think that the government is tired of the huge explosion of homeless population
