This letter is to describe Emma Schilling and her qualifications as an RA; however, as a current RA, there are so many different factors that make someone an incredible RA. It is a job where the person either is ready for or he or she will be a train wreck at it. Maturity and inclusivity are key components of the job. Not to mention, the person has to like what they are doing or else the job won’t be worth it. Emma is not only mature enough to handle the job, but is inclusive and personable enough that this job will be an amazing fit for her.
Hello Mr. Johnson, I hope all is well with you and your family. It is Sobhan(Bahman) Panjavi. Currently I am living with my father, Behnam Panjavi, and my mom, Farzan Ezzati, however, this is most likely going to change since my dad is wishing to go back to Iran to follow his carrier as a doctor not as a Clinical Surgical Assistant, which is what he is doing at the moment in Alberta Children’s Hospital. After all, every member of family including me was born and raised in Iran, we moved to Calgary in 2013. If asked what do I most identify myself with, my answer is most likely going to be a, good inquirers as well as a moderately good communicator.
Every state in the US has an affiliated chapter branching from the national organization that advocates for all Physician Assistants, known as the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). The American Academy of Physician Assistants handles licensing requirements, networking opportunities, job resources, and provides tools to improve PA practice and patient care for each state and federal service chapter. These individual state affiliations branching from the AAPA are pertinent to the Physician Assistant profession because they allow for more direct and local resources for Physician Assistants. Having an individual state chapter makes it easier to find local jobs in the area and get answers to questions about each state law requirement.
March 9, 2017 Aspen Wayment History of Physician Assistants There were many events leading up to the origination of the physician assistant. The military necessity in times of war was one of these events that induced the use of “non-physicians” and helped pave a pathway for physician assistants. In 1940 a highly respected physician trained his own “doctor’s assistant” to tend his patients while he was away receiving further medical education. This event was a major success and a brief example of what was to come a mere fifteen years later.
For anyone going into the healthcare field there are certain characteristics one should possess. As for a physician assistant these characteristics would apply, along with a few others. A physician assistant works closely with an attending physician to diagnose and treat their patients. Therefore, many characteristics that would make a successful physician assistant have to do with the physician- physician assistant relationship.

Internship Most physician assistant programs require anywhere between 500-1,000 hours of shadowing a physician assistant and direct patient contact. Direct patient contact can be considered to be working or volunteering as an EMT, Medical Assistant, Medical Scribe, Nurse, Nursing Assistant, etc. In order to fulfill these requirements, I will be taking a Nursing Assistant course over this summer to receive my certification to begin working towards the hours I will need to apply to a program. Once I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I plan on shadowing physician assistants over the summer from different specialties.
Thank you for taking the time to review my personal statement on why I have chosen to embark on the journey to become a Physician Assistant. My story started several years ago, more than I care to count, when I stumbled into the health care world as a paramedic in rural Pennsylvanian. While in high school, I became friends with several other students who were actively volunteering with a local fire department. After hearing their stories about the things they were learning and doing I also joined a volunteer fire department, mostly out of curiosity. Over the course of a couple of years I discovered that the challenges that I encountered during training and responding to emergencies had unlocked some unrealized, more like unknown, drive inside
Physician Assistant Physician Assistants (PAs) practice medicine on a team overseen by doctors. They examine patients all throughout the day and help people. They are trained to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment. PAs work in different areas of medicine, from doctors’ offices of various specialties to clinics, hospitals, and emergency rooms. Their work depends on their specialty and what their supervising physician needs them to do.
Calvin Neal Exploring a Health Career: Physician Assistant Ever since my cousin Paul, whom I’ve always looked up to, went to college and became a PA, I’ve wanted to follow in his footsteps. The definition of a physician assistant is “someone qualified to assist a physician and carry out routine clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician.” However, physician assistants can be so much more than that. They work in numerous fields such as pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopaedics, and with several health care providers such as nurses, surgeons, and physicians.
Therefore, the growing diversity of practicing PAs needs to ensure patient quality of care. Specialty certification exams may strengthen the knowledge and skills of the PA working in specialty. Nevertheless, there are various disadvantages to the NCCPA’s CAQ
The profession I have chosen to pursue is that of a Physician Assistant. My reason for this selection is because it gives you the independency of a Physician while having somewhat less responsibilities. A Physician Assistant provides healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. Some of these services include but are not limited to examining and treating patients, diagnosing illnesses and counseling patients. In some case physician assistants are also tasked to prescribe medicine to patients.
What is a Physician Assistant? As a relatively new field of practice, this answer is often asked. Physician Assistants are also known as PAs. They practice medicine on a team all under the supervision of a doctor. The name is largely a misnomer as physician assistants are much more than mere “assistants”.

Working in different settings and meeting new people that need to be taken care of has always interested me. The job I want to have while I go to college is the very challenging role of a Medical Assistant. Due to the experiences that have happened in my life, I believe that becoming a medical assistant is the best career choice for me. There are many duties and responsibilities I will have as a medical assistant.
