Many people are worried about the increasing crime rate in the United States. Parents want their children to feel the safest and the most comfortable in the town that they live in; moreover, they want to make sure that their child will not become victims of the previously stated issue. Everyone should be worried about the sudden increase in crime, but most importantly parents should be very concerned. This essay will demonstrate how one may feel towards the cartoon and why children are the most vulnerable to crime-related issues. The cartoon was also published during the sudden increase in criminal activity during 2021 with hopes that people will start to think about solutions for protection; consequently, stress was at an all time high because everyone wanted a solution for the problem.

This is a great way to promote the solution of the problem because people want to stop the stress and anxiety that is inevitable when crime occurs. Because the crime rate has severely increased, the cartoon makes people begin to think of the most efficient way to solve the dangerous problem that has been occurring. The political cartoon also explains who the victims actually are when violent crime is the primary issue. Children are the most in danger because they are unable to protect themselves; moreover, if the problem is not stopped, then the children will more likely become involved in crime related issues when they grow up and become adults. If the solution to end violent crimes is found, then it is more likely that the children can be taught about what to look out for and what to stay away from in order to stay
