Who do you think was our greatest president? Between Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson, I believe that Lincoln was the strongest. Lincoln managed to bring our nation through the Civil War, "one of the bloodiest and costliest in the Nation 's history" (Stone 6) with his "leaderhship, his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber" (Stone 3). He used various strategies to survive the war, including having advisors from the opposite viewpoint to be aware of both sides of every issue. What Lincoln is remembered most for, however, is his efforts to abolish slavery, which are considered "his greatest contribution to the history of America" (Stone 5).

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were great presidents but i believe that Abraham Lincoln was far better. He abolished slavery and held the country together during one of it's hardest times and doing all this with the pressure of an entire country relying on him. But it would have been better if he wasn't killed during his term I beleive that if he wouldn't have died America would be doing a lot better then it is now Lincoln would have been an amazing president if he didn't die he probably would have served another term or two. Even though everyone loved George Washington, Lincoln was also very popular among the people he also had the potential to make America a way better place.

There have been debates on which president was the strongest. The top three would be President Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson. Jefferson is the best because. Jefferson made the declaration of Independance, contributed to the expansion of the country, and had a lot of other accomplishments.
President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on the evening of April 14, 1865 at a play at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D. C. He was accompanied by his wife, Mary Lincoln, and Major Henry Rathbone and Miss Clara Harris, his future fiancee; the Lincoln’s were in a relatively good mood having ended the civil war. The four sat together in a private balcony box. The murderer, John Wilkes Booth, a famous actor of that play, hated Lincoln’s reforms. At around 10:00 pm, when the play was ending, Booth had walked past Major Henry Rathbone and shot Lincoln in the head. He then cut Rathbone’s arm and lept off to the stage, protecting himself and fleeing from the crime scene.

Our nation has had many great leaders and presidents. Many people could argue for hours over who was the best president and why. For me, the top three presidents were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson. They were each great for many different reasons and without them our nation wouldnt be the way it is today but personally, i think George Washington was the best and most influlential president. If you ask anyone in America who were the top leaders of our nation, Geroge Washington would almost always be on the top of most people list.
In America we have had many presidents, they have done their job to get America this far. I would have to say that president Ronald Reagan would be my choice in who I think was the best President. I know I wasn 't alive when he was president but if I could I would like to live that time period. President Ronald Reagan was the 40th president. When president Reagan was elected on November 4, 1980 he was the oldest man ever elected at the age of 69.

While Bradford argued against why he wasn’t the best, and reasons that the Civil War took place. The war opened many opportunities for generations and future presidents to be voted into office.
The number of children killed by the Nazis hasn 't been officially determined, but it is believed to be around 1.5 million Jewish children, tens of thousands of Gypsy children, and thousands of handicapped children. Many of which were killed due to Dr. Josef Mengele 's fatal experiments and horrifying surgeries (Josef par.13). Before Mengele began his work at Auschwitz he was an assistant to Dr. Otmar von Verschuer, who was widely known for his studies on twins. The following year when he received his medical degree, Mengele joined the SS and was drafted into the army (United par.1). The SS or Schutzstaffel accepted the responsibility for “solving” the “Jewish question.”
