Mr. Watson is not a credible source since he did not experience the name calling first hand. As said in the article, he wasn’t informed of how the volunteers were treated until after the event, even though he was as the protest at 7:30pm. As a reader, this raises questions as to why the volunteer, if name-called, didn’t tell anyone right away if they felt threatened. If Mr. Watson was there why did he not see the “vulgar attacks” himself and address the issue to the union representative Chris Taylor or remove his volunteers? Also, the credibility of the volunteer is non- existent with no
Stephens again makes the topic personally relate to himself as he states in his open letter “Well, Ms. Coulter, you, and society, need to learn that being compared to people like me should be considered a badge of honor.” He is also reinforcing the fact that Coulter wrongly assumed that linking the president to someone like him, would be an insult. Stephens closes his argument by conveying that no one overcomes more, than people like him

In 2012, Trayvon Martin was walking home, unarmed, with his hood up and his hands in his pockets. Local neighborhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman, saw him as a “threat” and took it upon himself to use lethal force against him. Campaign Zero reported that in 2014 “police killed at least 253 unarmed people and 91 people who were stopped for mere traffic violations”. The police brutality continues to escalate creating despair within the community. Martin’s case, along with Michael Brown’s death in Ferguson and the massacre at the Emanuel A.M.E. church in Charleston, became catalysts for the Black Lives matter Movement.
Not only was his comment disrespectful, it was also racist of him to say that. As a result, racial discrimination is everywhere; people don’t think before saying things that can hurt other
Muckraking is what us muckrakers do which is to point out the negatives of the society in which we live in and show how corrupted the government system can be. Also how selfish people can be by treating others and the environment cruelly just for their own beneficial gain. There’s different types of muckrakers such as photographers, speakers and also journalists such as myself who will investigate to tell you the truth of what’s unjust and unfair in the world we live in today. In this article I will talk to you about the innocent civilians of today’s society and about the things that have been going on: such as the unsafe products that companies are making you work with, some of our children having to work jobs that we should have to work, natural resources being wasted disgracefully and other horrible topics as well. Do you think companies really truly do care about their customers or just the benefits they get by having us the people buy the products they sell?
How many times do you go to watch tv and the news is telling you about the latest wildfire in California? Maybe you live in Califorina and you witness these fires yourself. It is a shame all those animals dying and their homes being burned down but what if there was a way to fix it? Would you consider the solution if it also involved fire?
Semi-state decides if your seasons ends or you make it to state. State is a huge thing in wrestling. It not like all sports because it 's you by yourself. You worked all season to get to that ticket round match and win. The week leading up to semi-state is very quiet.
Bernie Sanders In 2016 the United States of America will elect a new president. As the president of the United States the candidate must be able to prove he or she is good for the job. Bernie Sanders a democratic candidate for the USA is the qualified for this job. Bernie Sanders an advocate for racial equality wants to help middle class Americans with minimum wage; Bernie sander believes in war and peace.
My speech will persuade the audience to vote for Bernie Sanders in the primary elections. This is important to me because, for the first time, our generation has the power to control the 2016 election; therefore, we should be as well informed as possible. After donating to and volunteering for Mr. Sanders, I believe he is the change the U.S. needs to become great again, and I want to do everything in power to spread the word about him.
Whether you like guns or you hate them, you must understand that the ownership of firearms is a right; A RIGHT…NOT a privilege. You must understand that America is a republic, NOT a democracy. That means that our rights cannot be changed or ended by a vote. ““The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.” – Samuel Adams” It is your right (as protected by the first amendment) to oppose the 2nd amendment.
On the night of October 1, 2017 a man named Stephen Paddock shook America with the chaos of the Las Vegas shooting. He killed 58 people and injured hundreds with a legally acquired rifle. He had the freedom to acquire the weapon but not the freedom to use it in order to do harm and leave people without mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters. Although that night was the biggest mass shooting on U.S soil, it also brought out the true patriot and hero inside of some people who saved countless lives on that tragic night. Even in the midst of chaos some people remember where they’re from and fight back against evil trying to deter America’s morale and hope.
Genocides were around for 150 years and millions of people were killed, tortured, and separated from their families due to a genocide. A genocide is the massive killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. The Holocaust is an example of a genocide that happened in 1933-1945. During this genocide, the Nazi party and Adolf Hitler wanted to get rid of all Jews either by killing them in a gas chamber, working them to death, getting them into groups and killing all of them at once. During this genocide around 6 million jews and millions of others were killed.
Today we will be talking about the mass killings that has been happening. Also we will talk about if bulling pals a big part. I think bullying plays a big role in a mass shooting. It plays a big role because the perpetrator could be getting bullied at school. So he takes it on other people.
If you go out of the house, there is a good chance that you will run into someone who is mean and looking for someone to hurt. There are a lot of miserable people out there who will do and say things that hurt your feelings. I 'm talking about emotional pain that makes you feel bad about yourself, them, and everything around you. This is the kind of emotional pain that can stay with you and have an effect on your life in a very negative way. It 's easy enough to say that other people shouldn 't be able to influence how we feel and how we behave, but it 's harder to actually follow through with that.
