There are many risks involved with the price beat store in taralgon these include the fact that managers meetings and training sessions go on quite late and a lot of the managers live in melbourne so they normally are not getting home until quite late which could in turn affect overall performance.
Due to the fact that the central warehouse is quite far away from the store it makes same day deliveries impractical thereby affecting stock maintaining and inventory. A good way to look at solving this risk would be maybe to look at delivery times and find a way around it that would be more practical and better suit all parties involved.

In future there should be a log book or online system to report injuries in and around the workplace detailing what action was taken and eventual outcome this would than protect the business against potential legal action. The store is also failing to meet OHS, Privacy and industrial relations law as well as required legislative and regulatory standards so all these things need to be addressed so the store falls into these categories and the store is safe for employees and customers. There is also a lack of written policies and procedures in and around the workplace which is also having an effect on the business culture the best way to address this issue would be to reissue the company's policies and procedures to all employees as well as putting a poster of them up in certain parts of the workplace, this may also help with the unprofessional culture in and around the workplace and will also cover the company were any legal issues to occur as all policies and procedures should be visible in and around the workplace.
All the computers in the store with employees details are not password protected at the moment so they could do with being updated and passwords put onto all machines as if someone was to access these details unauthorised it would be a breach of data protection …show more content…

This could help the business save costs on staff as well as making customers lives much easier when trying to pay for products. This would obviously be a cost to the business but would work out cheaper in the long term as well as being more convenient for customers.
The business is also failing to monitor the external environment as well as failing to find opportunities and threats to the business, all management should sit down and discuss these things as the end result can only help the business to move forward.

3. Internal ERP system is no good, this doesn't help with day to day operations as there needs to be separate employees responsible for payments, deliveries and inventory management.
4. Staff members don't understand policies and procedures as they are communicated verbally so staff members are just doing work they want, not what needs done.
5. Water and lighting systems inadequate as using too much power and water. Both need upgraded to be in line with new state regulations.
6. Footfall very low even though store is in prime location and has easy access to public transport.
