In the past marketing agencies worked on a more functional (Silo) based plan however with changing trends more cross functional teams are being utilized. In today’s marketing world where creative content is so intertwined with production, it doesn't necessarily make sense to have so many separate silos. More agencies are replacing those silos with cross-functional teams, headed up by project managers or defined producer chains.
