It is safe to say that immigration has many pros and cons on the United States and other countries. The benefits of immigration is that the jobs some people in America do not want to do basically goes to immigrant from other countries. This works out because then everyone is given that opportunity for a job. Immigrants tend to work for cheap labor and with enough immigrants coming in this leads to a big enough labor force to support a business and help it grow, overall this benefits the economy. It would be more expensive and costly to deport these illegal immigrants back to where they originally came from than it would be if they just stayed. The costs/cons associated with immigration on the Cengage learning module states that, the costs, “ undermines American workers, increases burden on public programs and threatens American culture and values”. An act I disagree with is the Illegal Immigration Responsibility Act of 1966. I disagree with this in some ways but then understand the reasoning for it.
