1600 years ago the mediterranean people were doing the same thing that us modern day people are doing now, conquering, claiming, and fighting, but why were they doing this, and who were they doing it too? The Roman empire was one of the strongest empires in history, the “superpower of the Mediterranean world”. In 750 BCE Rome was founded and over time Rome’s wealth, territory, and popularity grew and grew as time went on. They conquered the land of Scotland and Spain, began to control the whole Mediterranean sea, established some colonies around North Africa, the middle east, Asia Minor, and Egypt. They were beginning to expand their empire into almost the entire continents of Asia, Europe, and Africa.
However, since assuming office, Trump had been quick to jump to action regarding his attempt at repealing ObamaCare. On January 20th, 2017, his first day in office, Donald Trump signed Executive Order No. 13765, which stated the following, “It is the policy of my Administration to seek the prompt repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148), as amended (the "Act"). In the meantime, pending such repeal, it is imperative for the executive branch to ensure that the law is being efficiently implemented, take all actions consistent with law to minimize the unwarranted economic and regulatory burdens of the Act, and prepare to afford the States more flexibility and control to create a more free and open healthcare
ObamaCare is the Affordable Care Act that millions of people seek to have for their medical insurance. ObamaCare is also called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act but in short form it is also called the health care system of the health insurance industry. This gave Americans more protections and rights that expanded all over the nation for most of the uninsured Americans. It was given to ten millions of uninsured Americans and does not change a way to add to other insurance. The key points mandate all individuals without the healthcare coverage and if they wanted to purchase insurance with penalties by 2016 and the charge will be $695 a year or 2.5 percent in each household income of the low income recipient (http://www.hospitalimpact.org).
"What if I cannot afford Obamacare?" There is no straight forward answer to this question in part because "Obamacare" is a colloquial expression that refers to a 1000 page piece of federal legislation formally known as the Affordable Care Act. Thus, there is no one policy or program known as Obamacare. In fact, the piece of legislation in question is a comprehensive approach to making health care coverage more accessible to Americans under our existing patchwork of diverse programs.

Lots of things have changed since Obama's first year as president but, in 2009, it was Democratic members of Congress supporting health-care reform who were set upon by outraged constituents. When they passed the Affordable Care Act anyway, it cost their party control of Congress in the 2010 midterm elections. House Republicans subsequently voted more than fifty times to repeal or cripple the A.C.A. Nineteen Republican-led states spurned the offer of federal funds to expand Medicaid coverage. In January, Donald Trump’s first act as President was to order government agencies to avoid implementing, as much as is legally possible, what has become known as Obamacare.
Republican Scott Brown. The democrats changed the rules, by calling the “Reconciliation Rule”, meaning that. The rule was only supposed for budget item approvals, so then it can pass with fifty one not sixty. The reconciliation wasn’t the ultimate plan but didn’t stop them. Both acts were passed through the Congress and then needed a signature.
The external environment around Obamacare consisted of the citizens of America as well as the politicians who represented them. Americans up to 2010 were not receiving the health care they so direly needed. A population recovering from recession in 2008 coupled with high medical costs, led to a concerning amount of Americans not getting the medical care they need. In 1999, 9% of the American population did not get the health care they needed because of cost; this number jumped to 15% in 2009. This problem was even more evident for the numerous Americans who were uninsured.
Currently, the two main atrocities of Obamacare include the cost and the fact that making Americans purchase government issued healthcare was micromanaging. Based on the research surrounding the opposition to Obamacare, an improved plan could be funded in part by changes in the tax money. Making the top 5 percent of earners pay a more fair share and reducing the lower and middle-class population’s share would balance the costs and make it more affordable. Also with some of the tax money, a government non-profit insurance company could be established to offer more choices. Some research points to interest in letting people shop for their preferred insurance plan nationally as well instead of having to remain an in-state consumer.
The need for a national health care is a necessity in the United States, and current laws should be maintained and reformed to meet the medical needs of its citizens. Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act is a federal program that provides and demands insurance be given to all citizen without discrimination. Obamacare is a policy that must be kept and constantly updated to fit the medicinal needs and keep health insurance at a much lower expense. This is a liberty that needs to be provided by the government to keep healthcare affordable and obtainable. It should not be deprived from the people.
Medicare and Obamacare have made considerable changes regarding the medicine that is being provided to Americans. The Medicare drug plans that are given use something called a formulary which is a list of drugs that are covered with the plan that each person might choose for themselves or their families. In contrast, Obamacare does the job of totally abolishing the so called “donut hole” that was created by Medicare and instead makes the drugs that are offered incredibly more affordable for Senior Citizens. Weighing the two together is a good way to decide which would be the better in regards to medicinal practice for me after graduation. It was signed into law on March 23, 2010 but was upheld by the Supreme Court on June 28, 2012 (ObamaCare Facts, 2015). The goal of ObamaCare is to give access to more affordable, quality insurance to Americans all while reducing the spending growth of U.S. health care. The new president, Donald Trump, ran under the promise that he would completely repeal the Affordable Care Act set forth by President Obama in 2010. Though several executive orders have been signed in an effort to stop the effectiveness of Obamacare, the current administration has yet to repeal this health care plan or put forth any complete replacement programs. Instead, the GOP has proposed various replacements for specific aspects of Obamacare that they’ve prioritized as most harmful and in need of change.

For some presidents, it was the citizen’s responsibility to purchase health care and others thought health care reform was needed to help fund and subsidize further government initiatives. The U.S. does not have a constant health care system nor universal coverage for all citizens, but has recently endorsed statutes requiring health care coverage for all people, also known as the Affordable Care Act of 2010 or Obamacare. In 2014, 48 percent of health care spending was private, 28 percent coming from households, and 20 percent coming from private businesses. In 2014, there were 283.2 million people living in the United States with 89.6% having some sort of health insurance coverage; 66% of workers covered by a private health insurance plan.
