The legalization of ownership and use of gun in the US is a controversial issue. Legal carry of guns can provide protection to people and homes, and supports the right of self-defense. However, guns in America can also create public health crisis and provide weapons, which are easily acquired, for firearm-related crimes. Both pros and cons of the legal ownership and use of guns in America are fairly debatably. Legal carry of guns provides protection to individuals and families; on the contrary, the presence of guns can put people in health risks, and also contributes to armed crimes.
A portion of the American families and individuals are carrying their own guns with legal licenses. Guns are frequently used for hunting and sport activities.
