In the United States many inmates are sentenced to death row. The death penalty should not exist because of many different reasons. Death penalty uses a great deal of money and someone innocent could be accidently killed. If we didn’t have death penalty we would have more money for schools, roads, and goods and items needed for the communities. Thirty-two out of fifty states currently have and practice death row. The two main methods of execution are lethal injection and electrocution. The other three least common methods are using the gas chamber, hanging, or firing squad. When sentencing a convict to death row, the most common way of execution is through lethal injection. When an inmate receives a lethal injection he or she will be strapped down in a chair and an execution team puts several heart monitors on their skin. Then two needles are inserted into usable veins into the inmate’s arms. People believe in an eye for an eye meaning that if someone does something to someone else, they should get the same thing done to them. Yes, this is true when someone does something to another individual they should indeed get the same thing done to them, but that is why there is a thing called karma. Life will naturally give the individual what he or she deserves. This is how life works. Most people try to speed up the process of things by just doing it themselves, but in time life has its ways and the individual will get their payback. I do agree with the fact that the individual should die if they do something horrible to someone like rape or kill them. Although I do agree with the fact that if someone did something so horrible they should have it done to them as well, I also believe that death row is not
