1176 Words5 Pages

Chris Kyle was carefully surveying the rooftops of Fallujah, Iraq to ensure that no Iraqi insurgents had a chance to put any Marine lives in jeopardy. Chris was in awe as he watched a woman and a child exit a nearby house carrying a grenade. The child took the grenade from the woman and began running towards the group of marines. Chris had a chance to shoot the butcher but he decided not to shoot. One reason why Chris did not shoot is because he did not want to draw attention to his group of SEALs hiding on a rooftop. There were only three SEALs and over 20 insurgents. Another reason why Chris did not shoot is because Chris was not sure at the time that the man “the butcher” killed gave the Americans a tip of an insurgent hideout. Chris’s decision to deploy for his fourth time and his decision not to kill a high priority target is two decisions I questioned while
