Quick Summary
March 21, 2018. A day to be engraved in history for as long as the sun rises each day. This morning there was a tragedy in Verona as Tybalt, nephew of Lady Capulet, and Mercutio, relative of the Prince, were pronounced dead. The one who fled the scene is Romeo, a Montague, as reports have shown that Tybalt killed Mercutio and Romeo, a man that lusted for revenge, has killed Tybalt. After the tragedy occurred, civilians stormed the scene including Capulets, Montagues and the beloved Prince. Once the Prince found out about the murder and the people involved in it, he was enraged. Without hesitation and not much thinking, he has exiled Romeo from the land of Verona.

Tybalt was the one that was “deaf to peace” and refused to listen to Romeo to not fight. Mercutio was the one to step up to the plate and fought Tybalt. Although Mercutio put up a good fight, he was stabbed and had a light wound, so it seemed. While Benvolio and Mercutio went to go get a nurse, Mercutio sadly passed away. When Benvolio told Romeo about this tragedy, Romeo forgot about being peaceful and wanted revenge on Tybalt. Romeo then slaughtered Tybalt and fled the scene. Both these murders were committed with
