When registering for this class, a wave of worry ran through me, because I had minimal skill when it came to writing, particularly in the field of formal writing. The high school I attended was academically poor, we never wrote formal papers, just informal book and movie responses. Therefore I was apprehensive about this class. This course was quite intricate, but I attend skills that will aid me for the rest of my academic career. Rhetorical knowledge, critical inquiry, process, and conventions are all concepts I have acquired.
Many Women were killed from persecutions of witchcraft in the late 15th century to the 17th century. There are many reasons for the persecutions, during that time period there was the Reformation, and the Thirty Years War. The Reformation was a fight over that was caused because the church was lying to the people who went to catholic churches and saying that you need to pay to get rid of your sins, and the Thirty Years War was a war over religion that lasted thirty years. Factors in the late 15th century and the 17th century that led to witchcraft persecutions were The Reformation, and the Thirty Years War. Document 1 was written by Johan Weir, who was a Belgium physician, believed that women had small brains and men needed to help the women.
No matter the type of paper I’m writing, I tend to write personally. One reason for this is that I enjoy when people write things that almost makes one feel like they know them. This makes a goal for me to create pieces that will cause this sort of feeling. While being able to do this is important to me, I have learned how careful I need to be as well. I felt in sync writing the narrative because I brought out my ability to essentially write for my audience and make it enjoyable.
From expanding my literary horizons to developing critical analysis skills and refining my writing style, this course has empowered me as both a reader and a writer. The exposure to diverse texts, paired with engaging discussions and challenging assignments, has developed a deeper appreciation for the variation of language and the impact it holds. I now approach texts with a more selective lens, equipped with the ability to uncover rhetorical strategies and analyze their effectiveness. Furthermore, my writing has become more expressive and persuasive, reflecting my evolving understanding of rhetoric and its applications. As I conclude my AP Language class, I carry with me a newfound appreciation for the power of words and the art of communication.

Alzheimer's, a disease that robs people of their memories, has specific signs and symptoms, causes, pathophysiology, diagnoses, prevention, management, prognosis, epidemiology, and history. Alzheimer's disease has many signs and symptoms.
Reflecting on the process of writing the first essay for this class, I feel that it is important to discuss my initial thoughts and attitudes because they may have affected my writing. I am taking this course at the end of the RN-to-BSN program because I did not realize I needed it. I completed two freshman writing classes many years ago, but they did not count toward this degree. Every class in this program has involved multiple writing assignments weekly, and since I scored well in those classes, I felt that “Writing and Rhetoric” would be relatively easy and stress-free. Now, five weeks into this class, I understand that this type of writing requires more thought and effort because it employs a different approach.
Throughout the term there has been many writing assignments —big or small— that helped reflect my writing process or the process itself. In the beginning of the course I felt like I was an “ok” writer, but lacked some skills such as: organization, sentence variety, and vocabulary. Also, I did not like to write and had a feeling of dislike when forced to write. I felt like I improved on everything I wanted and was seen throughout the semester. I know how to organize my ideas, the worksheets given in class to work on sentence variety really helped, and vocabulary was built on some level.
Over the this past semester in freshman composition I have learned how to write a college level paper. Going into this class, I was a little unsure and scared that I wasn’t going to be able to do the things that were required for me to do. As the semester passed I could definitely see a change in my writing. I learned how to use the appropriate punctuation, how to write and refute an argumentation paper, which I believe is my strongest piece of writing and how to research and gather information to write a strong research paper. I knew coming into this class that I was going to struggle with my punctuations, word choice, and the overall flow of the paper.
ENG-122 Reflective Essay My writing process has changed tremendously over the course of this class. I feel more accomplished, confident and I feel sometimes that my ideas and thoughts just come in to my mind out of nowhere and I start writing about anything now. I pay attention to my punctuation and grammar more as I have polished them more now, not only when I write but then others write as well. I am constantly looking for errors and I highly think this is helping me a lot in my career.
Writing essays and other types of posts has always been difficult for me. But, throughout this composition class, I have learned many interesting and new things about the different types of writing styles. When starting this class, I considered myself to be an average writer with run-of-the-mill vocabulary, ordinary sentence structure and typical finished products. This class has helped me greatly improve my writing skills in a variety of ways. I have learned multiple things by taking this class, such as new ways to approach writing and that there is much that I still need to learn about composition.
At the start of this course I could barely write a coherent paragraph. I believe that I can now write a passable academic essay. I have grown much more confident in my writing skills. This class has been exceptionally helpful in teaching me how to write properly. I believe that I have gained a lot of useful information from this class.
Writing has always been an issue but yet interesting subject of mine. As hard as I try and write essays, and papers I just can’t get the hang of writing. But after taking this class, I did learn different writing technique and improved my writing proficiency, material body of formatting, and how to uncovering and properly use sources. Through class exams, essays, and a research paper, I was able to learn new writing skills. Although I have learned a variety of things, my writing still needs improvement.
Writing project 3 has shown me the importance of writing something that is of interest for you, an issue that you are passionate about. I think that I have started to get somewhat better at the structuring of my writing and using outlines before I jump into a draft. I am no longer as scared and hesitant to write, as I was the first writing project. I think a good goal that I accomplished from this project was using diverse sources in my writing. I was able to utilize a magazine post, newspaper article and research journals to form my argument and provide support.
The art of argument persuasion I’ve learned in this course is so beneficial for my marketing major. Other than that, it made me develop the essay writing skills necessary for success in my studies at the university level. This English course also taught me how powerful written words can be, and how the delivery of the tone is important for the reader. The tone of a narrative is different than the tone of a research, where the difference makes the paper. Also, the power in written words tells how much it is crucial to mankind.
At first, I was slightly apprehensive about critiquing a fellow classmate’s written paper. The first thoughts that popped into my mind were, what if I give wrong advice on any corrections? What if my classmate gets offended by my comments? On the other hand, I had to make myself realize that the critiquing assignment was not about what was “wrong” or “correct” in their written work. However, it needed to be seen more as helping to make my classmate’s paper better.
