I have learned many things this year in writing class. Some of the most useful are planing my writing and learning about sentence structure. To plan my writing we learned to think about what the topic is before you start writing. Then you write the main point of what you are writing about and then you add details to your outline. We also learned about sentence structure. We learned about run on sentences. We learned how to identify and fix them. Another thing we learned was to vary the type of sentences in a paragraph to make it sound better. Learning this helped me improve my writing. When I plan my writing it is more thought out and easier to read and write. Also learning how to fix run ons made my writing more grammatically
