Overall the 2017-18 school year has been a great year. As the year comes to an end I take away both positives and negatives. I have also learned things from this year, that have helped pave the way for my summer goals. One thing that I plan on throughout the summer is improving me ACT score. I would like to continue taking the test until I get a 24 or 25. If I receive a 24 on the testI would consider taking the Ohio University branch two year free tuition plan. On the last ACT I took I received a composite score of 20. I got a 22 in English, 17 in math, 19 on reading, and 20 on science. I will to continue to work over the summer to prepare for the July ACT and potentially one in the fall also.
One positive I took away this school year is I realized and learn more about what I want to do after high school. Throughout the school I learned more about the career of a paralegal. Up unto this year I thought I wanted to be a teacher but I now know I am definitely interested in becoming a paralegal. While finally deciding what I wanted to major in I have been able to continue and have a better understanding in my college search. I would like to job shadow some paralegals to see what they do on a daily basis. It is important for me to know what I would be doing in the career I choose. I have a couple of law firms lined up that I plan on shadowing some paralegals from. I also want to do some college visits. There are limited colleges in Ohio that have a paralegal bachelor’s program. But I plan on visiting all of them. Another thing I would like to do this summer is take the July 14th ACT. However, before I take this test I need to prepare and study more to improve my score. I would also like to take another ACT in the fall, or until I reach the score I
