Writing Quality
Throughout the progression of the semester I have evolved as a writer, learned many new things, and acquired new knowledge. One of the most important skills i have developed has been new writing techniques. I have learned many new things through my mistakes. For example, how to develop better sentences, how to properly place commas and how to better organize my paragraphs. Not only have I acquired new techniques but also learned how to identify my weaknesses and my strengths.
At the commencement of the semester, one of the thing I mainly had trouble with was expressing my ideas. I would not be able to put in paper exactly what I thought or wanted to say. I would start writing my idea and halfway I would deviate to other ideas. Throughout the course of the class I was able to learn how to express and communicate my ideas more …show more content…

This has helped me improve my writing quality because it has helped me write my essays with more enthusiasm. By writing an essay with enthusiasm it helps to better develop ideas and give more effort into creating a good quality paper. A great example of this can be observed in the past three essays I have written. Throughout all three essays I include examples of personal experiences or situations I have observed in my family.
Writing clear ideas is an important factor when writing an essay as well as using proper punctuations is also very important. Throughout the mistakes in my past essays I have acquired better knowledge on comma placement. Due to the help provided from my professor and my friends I have been able to identify where commas are supposed to be added. Not only have I become better at comma placement but also using punctuation in general. I would always find it difficult to identify the difference between comas and semicolons and I have been getting better at distinguishing between
