In addition, I agree that there are things that need to be changed in the system, and there needs to be less
The success of any organization depends on the ability of members to communicate efficiently with each other and with external stakeholders including clients, shareholders, analysts, suppliers, and the community (Tariszka-Semegine, 2012). Therefore, almost all firms are emphasizing policies and strategies that enhance effective communication. However, in many cases, the focus has been on the best ways to engage external agencies (Barton, 2014). Businesses often ignore an essential constituent of an institution, the employee.
However, this group hopes to enact slight changes in the system in place including
In unit one we covered a lot of information that was new to me such as the introduction to the various layers of an OSI model and the different standards an ways networks can communicate such as Ethernets and ATM. I still have a fairly high level of confusion with these new-to-me topics but as it looks like we will be examining each layer in the subsequent units I believe my understanding will improve. I will address the questions presented on the learning journal assignment page directly as this has been the preference in my previous instructors. If you do not prefer this method in the future, let me know and I will just directly incorporate them in my write up.

These issues impact the group and myself in various ways. This is probably the first time, but I am sure will not be my last that I am disclosing my sexuality. After years of pre-contemplation and figuring myself out I do identify myself as a homosexual twenty three year old Indian male. It has taken me twenty three years to finally accept that I am not attracted to the opposite sex but to the same sex. I did try fixing myself as many discreet people try doing.
Richard Yang Mr. Taylor English 231-FJT03 26 October 2015 Informal Response #2 As the semester progressed, I actually found myself enjoying an English course for the first time since high school. I especially enjoy this course because we get to read many different stories, unlike my other courses which revolved around writing. Of course I do enjoy writing but a whole bunch of it could be suffocating.
Change is inevitable. This knowledge is common however acknowledgement of the factors that push for change often go unrecognized. As stated in a quote by Oscar Wilde, “It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion”. No matter what the circumstances are, all change begins with disobedience. Disobedience, which Wilde names “man’s original virtue”, can be defined as an action of complete and utter defiance, whether against authority, the law, society, etc.
In my first semester at Duke University, I have witnessed an array of attacks on minorities and the subsequent reaction by various student groups, ultimately leading to the production of an independent underground zine consisting of pieces written by a multitude of students: the Un-Chronicled. In this paper, I attempt to analyze the discourse set forth in the magazine using mainly the political ideologies presented by Wendy Brown in “Wounded Attachments” and, to a lesser extent, Richard Ford in “Beyond ‘Difference’: A Reluctant Critique of Legal Identity Politics.” While I believe many of the points made in the publication are valid and deserve the attention of both fellow students and administration, the presentation of those points is often
In this essay I will present a proposal telling of certain aspects of the system that are in dire need of reform. Although some people are against the reformation of this system, this essay

My writing and reading process generally varies depending on its purpose. For class assignments, I mostly do my work in an environment similar to my class room. For example, I would work at a desk and begin with reviewing the assignment or prompt several times before I begin. When it comes to writing, I would often place my prompt at the beginning of my paper and I begin a series of brainstorms with bullet points under. Throughout my working process, I often come back to the top to refer to my prompt and my original ideas to compare my work and review if I am following through with it.
The organizational system that I consistently interact with on a regular basis in my stakeholder group is the administrator, staff and students. Regularly, the rubrics for grading assignments are supposed to be utilizing for all assignments giving by the teacher to the students. However, not all of the educators are using this method to grade their students’ assignments. This rubric assignment, called the “Reflective Response Form” was created as a way to improve students’ academic achievement, and allow them to take a pro-active approach participant in their own learning. For example, every student will use this reflective response form as a guide to track his or her strengths and weaknesses for each content area in the school.
During the arduous English 120 course, the focus involved intriguing topics of race, gender, and stereotypes in the media. Highlights included analyzing and summarizing a specific image advertisement and an article. The most entertaining assignment was the research paper which took about half the semester to complete. In contrast, to the research papers I had written in high school I never wrote an annotated bibliography before and the task of the assignment was different. The task involved identifying a social issue that occurs in media then create an argument surrounding it.
