The Angel of Death Can a bad thing be a good thing if one thinks that it is the right thing to do? Joseph Mengele must have thought so. Even though Dr. Mengele was in the Nazi party for three years, he had sent over 400,000 Jewish people to die in the gas chambers. He and he alone had ordered to kill large amounts of innocent people. Dr. Mengele had done terrible things during his time at Auschwitz. Mengele had done things from executing Jewish people to experimenting on twins, but that is not all for there is so much more.

The Nazis thought that most women were not fit to work unless they were really strong. Mengele would trick people into thinking that the people were going to take a shower so that the people would come willingly. Many people would be surprised when people were gassed and when the prisoners found out that anyone who went in and did not come out were killed. After killing so many prisoners was that when Mengele was given the nickname “The Angel of Death.” After awhile, it became known that Mengele was experimenting on some of the prisoners. Mengele was apparently trying to find a way to genetically create the Aryan race. They believed that the Aryan race was the superior race compared to all of the other races. While Mengele was experimenting on the prisoners, it became known that Dr. Mengele would like to experiment on twins the most. Not only would Mengele experiment on the prisoners, but he would even experiment on the dead as well. When Mengele would conducted his twisted experiments on the twins, Mengele would do things such as drawing blood from one twin and injecting some mysterious fluid into the other twin. Mengele would even do this on one twin by taking blood away from one arm and then he would inject the fluid into the other arm. They questioned him about some things but they decided to let the doctor go because they did not know what Dr. Mengele’s involvement was during his time in Auschwitz. The United States did not know that Dr. Mengele was involved in killing over 400,000 Jewish people. Dr. Mengele fled again since he was given a chance to leave. Dr. Mengele must have been an extremely lucky person if he was able to get away with the crimes that Mengele had committed. Joseph Mengele would bounce around from different countries. Mengele eventually settled down in South America for some time. Dr. Mengele sent some time at a vacation resort around Brazil. Dr. Mengele was to spend some time at this resort until he was free from the people who were hunting him. He had a warrant on his head in 1959 so Dr. Mengele was to lay low until the US and everyone else thought he disappeared. Dr. Mengele had a extremely surprising death. Dr. Mengele did not die due to being shot or the people who were hunting him down. Instead, he was found dead in a swimming pool due to a heart attack. After everything Dr. Mengele did he only died due to a heart attack. Some people would think that the end of Dr. Mengele was more merciful than what would happen to Dr. Mengele if his trackers would have found
