Da Vinci Matthew Moore Da Vinci was a great inventor. He was a renaissance man. He has one of the greatest minds for math and had a great imagination. His imagination was one of the things that fueled all of his ideas to come to life.
Leonardo Da Vinci was born in April 15, 1452. He was born in a small farmhous outside of Vinci, Italy. His family was poor and lived a normal life as a child. When he became 14, he worked in a apprenticeship program with Andrea del Verrocchio (very popular at the time). From Andrea, Leonardo learned painting, sculpting, metalworking, drawing, and much more.
He applied them to the phenomenon called the human body. To accomplish what he wanted to know about the human body, Leonardo dissected about thirty bodies. Leonardo also worked with physics and used it in many of his investigations.
According to Leonardo da Vinci “ Learning never exhaust the mind”. He never had any formal education and because of this reason, he was unable to read most of the information that were provided on books. To expand his understanding, he made observations himself where he related most of his understandings to the things around him by representing them in sketches with his artistic talent. Due to the difference between the system he used in approaching his ideas which was different from others scholars who read from books, he was able to sell his ideas to prominent people.
Leonardo Da Vinci was born April 15, 1452 and died in May 2, 1519. Da Vinci’s mother was a peasant by the name of Caterina Da Vinci, and his father was an attorney & notary by the name of Piero Fruosino Di Antonio Da Vinci. His parents were never officially married and only had one kid together. With Da Vinci’s father and mother put together he had 17 other half siblings. Little is known about the life of Leonardo da Vinci.
Leonardo Da Vinci lived during the Renaissance era and made it come alive. He took huge steps into the future and the effects are still seen in present time. The Renaissance era was a time when artist expanded their thinking and saw art in a new light. Da Vinci was one in particular that focused on bringing nature/realness and a sense of mystery to his paintings.

His research were largely ignored by other scholars because had had no education in Mathematics and Latin when he was younger. Da Vinci’s views were integrated with his art, especially with his studies in anatomy. His inventions helped society learn. One thing that he fiddled with in science was natural science.
During the 13th to the 17th century, it was the start of new inventions, paintings, and other artwork. This time period is known as the renaissance; which took place in Italy. Italian cities, like Genoa and Venice, became very wealthy. This was mainly caused by their trading with other cities. In Italy, there were some cities that were ruled by feudal lords.
