Leonardo is known for his outstanding work of art and his diverse field in science (artist, inventor, and scientist). Some of da Vinci’s inventions include the following: The Ornithopter, 33-Barreled organ, and aerial screw, armored car, Anemometer, diving suit, and Viola organista. Leonardo has always wondered about the mechanism behind flying like a bird when he developed his design for a flying machine also known as Ornithoper. To improve the quality of his paintings through the years, Leonardo kept a sketchbook. Scientist most often represents their ideas on napkins. It helps them illustrate and explain better. Napkins are always in handy. An inventor does not need to wait till he gets home to draw. According to Leonardo da Vinci “ Learning never exhaust the mind”. He never had any formal education and because of this reason, he was unable to read most of the information that were provided on books. To expand his understanding, he made observations himself where he related most of his understandings to the things around him by representing them in sketches with his artistic talent. Due to the difference between the system he used in approaching his ideas which was different from others scholars who read from books, he was able to sell his ideas to prominent people. In conclusion, Leonardo da Vinci has created designs and sketches that have impacted the world immensely. Such as the drawing of Vitruvian man showing the world’s proportion to the human body.
