Introduction:
For the past two centuries, game-based learning has gained popularity within education. These games are specifically created for education purposes and are made for various subjects like math or grammar. These games can be board, digital, or video. One of the first records of game-based learning is from Friedrich Fröbel who created the Froebel gifts in the 1840s. These “gifts” were blocks that could be arranged by the children along with balls and strings, so the children could learn hand dexterity and develop cognitively (Curtis). The Froebel gifts greatly impacted game-based learning and has influenced similar toys and games. Beyond that, the objective of the game is to engage players in rhetorical critical thinking by presenting them with scenarios which force players to consider several arguments that employ different rhetorical appeals and devices. Ideally, through repeated play, players will become more aware of rhetoric in their everyday lives and familiarize themselves with common terminology.
• Movement - Players advance through the board by rolling a single six-sided die and advance their game piece forward depending on the number rolled. Each player will be given a 1000 dollars to start the game off and gain money through the collection of properties. After 75 turns, the player with the most money wins the game.

It can be a free space for players to land on or if they land on the Run-In With The Law Tile and are faced with a scenario that finds them guilty of a crime, they will be sent to jail. If sent to jail, the player will have to stay there for two turns or they can choose to present a defensive argument as to why they should be freed to the gamemaster employing rhetorical tactics. The gamemaster will then decide if the player’s argument was well done and appropriately used rhetorical devices and strategies, if so they will then be released from jail and be allowed to complete the
