From the moment that I first stepped foot on campus, I knew that Rice was going to be an amazing place to study, however by now it is much more than that; Rice feels like home to me. Above all else, one differentiating characteristic of Rice is the people that it attracts. The facility is full of world-class professors who are all welcoming and willing to put in extra effort to help the students succeed. The students are Rice, in addition to being smart, are some of the nicest and friendliest people that I have ever met. I believe that the environment that this creates amplifies the effectiveness of learning, while challenging students with its rigorous course load. To accomplish this, I will work for one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Having graduated from the Masters of Accounting program from Rice, I would be a prime candidate for one of these jobs. A Big 4 firm would provide me with an experience unmatched by any other professional field. Once I begin working, I will be exposed to a vast array of different businesses and industries, thus giving me in depth insight into those fields.
