About me and choosing North Dakota State University
Firstly, I do appreciate for providing an opportunity to state my purpose. I am highly motivated Ph.D. candidate, named Fahimeh Maghsoodi who graduated with Master of Nanotechnology from Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Institute of the University of Kashan where is the polar center of Nanotechnology in my country. It is my unshakable belief that the honest effort will be deserved to be conferred the best degree through the substantiating the goals. So, I have honestly put a considerable effort to continue my education in one of the prominent universities. Indeed, all I have carried …show more content…

My interests in this field always act as propelling force supplementing hardworking and adopting fierce determination to learn more. After my graduation in Bachelor of physics I was successful in entrance examination for Master degree in which I was ranked grade of 518th among many thousands of participants, which fetched me an admission into the polar center of nanotechnology in my country (University of Kashan) and left me with a predilection for doing my Ph.D. in the USA for the sake of inspiration of more enthusiasm which induced me to trust my intuition more than previously. The emphasis at our institute was on having a thorough knowledge of fundamental principles and studying a wide spectrum of courses ranging from essential features of subjects to the core topics. My under graduation studies has provided me with a strong and comprehensive background in doing so. I was exposed to subjects like computational nanotechnology and pharmaceutics, Drug Delivery, Soft Matter, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Nanomaterial features and Operation Mechanism of Microscopes. So, I was given a strong foundation in core subjects that have provided a commendable groundwork for my advanced study and honed my computational and laboratory skills (micelle synthesis, drug designing, and simulation of peptides and biopolymers). I got familiar with biodegradable polymers and surfactant-like peptides. I was duty bound to conduct an investigation on the indispensable role of peptides playing in drug delivery and other medical application. During my master, I have learned molecular dynamics simulation to delve into biological systems information. Not only does it provide the way by which the variety of drugs will be designed, but also it indicates that which materials can be appropriate candidate depending on our purpose. Consequently, I am familiar with some
