Most factual information about Northern Illinois University can be easily accessed on their website, but some information such as students’ opinions on the campus environment, and the quality of courses that can be taken in the college is a little more harder to find. There are many different students on campus I get to work with, all with different backgrounds, so I learn with a now perspective on all topics. I also have accessibility to many different places around the campus that provide a space for me to focus on my work. I personally struggle with most of classes I take, as well as homework I receive online, but the way college is set up now is innovative and continues to move forward with new technology.

Q: From what you have observed during your time spent at NIU, would you say that the university programs that are offered are helpful or valuable?Do you feel you are retaining what you learn from these classes?
A: It’s what you put into your college experience that will truly affect the outcome. I believe that I took advantage of all the resources my classes and programs provided to be able to learn what is being presented to me. Although I do have trouble learning the topics discussed in class, I believe that by using my resources and putting hard work that I am retaining what I learn overtime. I also believe that the information that I retain can and will help me in the future and will especially be valuable when applying for a
