Poetry Research Project: Robert Louis Stevenson Do you ever take the time to ever think about the life of a poet? How do they create such imagination using only words? Robert Louis Stevenson was one of these people. Robert Louis Stevenson was born in Scotland in 1850. He grew up with severe breathing problems. When he first went to college, he was studying for law. He wrote very renowned story books like The Strange case of doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and he also wrote Treasure Island. He was very famous for both books and poems. He would mostly use rhyming in his poems.
