More vitality, more interest, more intelligence, more grace, more expansion.” When you are coming of age, you become more mature, experience more things, and realize important things in the world. Coming of age is when you are considered an adult and have the responsibilities of being an adult. You have to experience mature situtations and develop your own opinion, not your parents. Love is having a strong feeling towards someone that can be romantic and about their identity. When you have romantic love, you are strongly attracted to that person and want to spend all your time with them. When you have identity love, you want to be just like that person and they are like your role model. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo is madly in love with a girl he just met until he met Juliet. Romeo and Juliet’s families are in a feud, so they are not allowed to see each other. One day, Romeo and Juliet secretly get married, but that night, Romeo gets exiled from the town. Juliet is devastated and soon things go downhill from here. At the beginning of the story, Romeo liked the idea of experiencing love and not actually loving Rosaline. He was very naive about relationships and only cared about love. Romeo is leaving the town because he was exiled. Romeo says to Juliet, “Farewell! I won’t miss any chance to send my love to you” (191). This shows that Romeo has matured in the component of love because before, he was just romantically attracted to Rosaline and only liked her for her looks and didn’t know her well.
