Aristotle displays how stronger emotions such as love can bring two individuals together, further bound as one. It has been seen how emotions have a big impact on people’s perspectives throughout their lifetime. One’s sense of feeling can heavily influence severe life decisions. William Shakespeare’s play, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, discusses how teenage star-crossed lovers influence the known feud occurring between both the Montague and Capulet houses. This is observable as characters in the play sometimes let their emotions get the best of them. Emotions negatively affect people’s actions because anger leads to violence,

Because of this, Tybalt is very upset at the Montagues and Capulets. This causes him to yell this statement because Benvolio is trying to be at peace while having his sword drawn. This portrays a sense of irony in this scene. Tybalt yells, “What, draw, and talk of peace! hate the word, “As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee” (I.v. 45-48. As a result of Juliet's assumptions, she instills fear in her head further disorientating her thoughts. Juliet is now skeptical of Friar's ways and no longer trusts him at this moment. Romeo and Juliet’s relationship takes a drastic turn, as this is a deciding factor in the trajectory of their relationship. To add on, an emotion that significantly impacts people is fear because it moves people in unpredictable ways. When Friar Lawrence realizes that Romeo didn’t get the right letter, he becomes fearful that Romeo is already at the vault. He becomes overwhelmed with his emotions. Friar Lawrence gasps, “Unhappy fortune! By my brotherhood, The letter was not nice but full of charge, Of dear import, and neglecting it” (V. II 17-20). Because of this, Romeo is in fact at the vault already. Romeo thinks that Juliet is dead, therefore starting a fight with Paris. Since Romeo is not at the vault in time, Juliet wakes up in a panic. Romeo is nervous and actually arrives at the vault late. Romeo is late, therefore causing Juliet to kill herself. Romeo then kills himself. As a result, their relationship is forever cemented as a phase of respect for the Montagues and
