To Blame someone is a strong accusation to someone that you believe is in the wrong. Throughout the story of Romeo and Juliet, many events have happened, verbal conflicts happened, and many fights took place, but who is to blame for the fate of Romeo and Juliet? There are multiple people who would fall under this category, but there is only one person that stood out the most, and that would be Romeo. Romeo has been very active throughout the play, finding a way to marry Juliet, and to run away together to live happily ever after, as he had thought. Things went south and a lot of things happened, I’m here to mention key events romeo was involved with, and walk you through why Romeo is the one to blame.
It all started out when Friar lawrence invited Romeo to the ball dance. All Romeo had to do was talk and visit with people and have a good time, which he did, but not how it was supposed to go. Romeo intended to talk to Rosaline, and click with her so they could possible get married, sike. This fine women named Juliet ever so happened to walk down to the dance, and Romeo instantly fell in love and lost all interest for Rosaline. The way the “Titanic” relates to “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” is because when Romeo kills Tybalt for Revenge is like when Jack is framed for theft of Rose’s diamond necklace. “Jack is framed by Cal for the theft of Rose’s diamond necklace, which was given to her by Cal. He does this because he finds Jack’s drawing of Rose”(Ruby Stafford, Prezi). Cal got angered and wanted Jack to get in trouble by slipping Rose’s necklace in his pocket, similar to when Romeo killed Tybalt, revenge because he killed Mercutio.
