In act 3, scene 1 Romeo kills Tybalt and he says “O, I am fortune’s fool.” In my opinion Romeo cannot blame fate for what happened to Tybalt. If Romeo was not Raging as hard as he was, maybe he would have realized that he was in control and it was not fate that caused him to kill Tybalt. Before he killed Tybalt, Tybalt and Mercutio were fighting over Romeo and Tybalt killed Mercutio. So it is understandable why he did do what he did, but I don't believe that it was fate or fortune that caused him to kill Tybalt. I also believe that everything that lead up to Mercutio and Tybalt being killed had something to do with Romeo. This all started because Romeo decided to sneak into the Capulet’s party when he knows that her family hates Romeo's family
