First, Juliet was suppose to get married to Paris. She didn’t want to so she drank the potion that knocks her out for 48 hours. This can be found in Act 4 scene 1. Second, Juliet drank the potion which made her look dead and Romeo killed himself. Those are my reasons why Paris is responsible for the death of the couple.
Romeo is the one to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he accepted to go to the Capulets party, he stays to listen to Juliet’s thoughts, and buys poison from the Apothecary. Their deaths could have been prevented if Romeo would of not done all of his actions that he did in the play. Those are my reasons of many but many other characters contributed with their deaths
In the book and play of " Romeo and Juliet " many are censured for the two's passings. There are three victims. Romeo, from the place of Montague, Juliet and her cousin Tybalt, from the place of Capulet. Romeo is to blame since he goes over the edge, and carries on of feeling. Juliet is basically to blame in light for the way that she executes herself.

However, at first glance, both the main characters, Romeo and Juliet are the ones to be painted responsible for the outcome. After Romeo hears the news about Juliet’s death, he goes to buy poison from a man who is so poor that Romeo knows he will sell it to him. He then went to the tomb, handed the letter to Balthasar to give to Romeo’s father, and drank the potion. The letter is significant to the play, because it has the real reason that Romeo decided to kill himself, and it most likely talks about the feud, and how Romeo views it. Romeo’s letter most likely included his deep love for Juliet, to the point where he would do anything for her, and the feud and how it affected his situation.
Star crossed lovers or lustful teenagers? In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare two teens from feuding families meet their untimely demise. But who is to blame? I believe that the people to blame are the victims themselves. One reason I blame Romeo for his and Juliet’s death is his dishonesty.

The Capulets and Montagues were not on good terms with each other. Unfortunately though, Romeo and Juliet fell in love with each other regardless if they are from opposing families. Because of these families bad relationship, Romeo and Juliet were forced to marry in secret instead of publicizing it. These two lovers could have been straight-forward to their parents about their marriage, but they choose not to. The Friar is also guilty to these lovers death, but he only thought that this relationship between Romeo and Juliet be the cure to their families grudge for each other.
