Ruger Vaquero Accomplishments

The Ruger Vaquero, a six-shot single-action revolver, used back in the early 1800’s became popular in 1993 for action shooting. I started to be involved in mounted shooting, while they made their way into my life they’ve helped me throughout. They have taken me all over the country and have given me so many opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to have without them. The guns are items in my life that are irreplaceable because they are important to me, affected my childhood and what I grew up around, shaped me to be the person I am today, and have helped me accomplish some of my greatest achievements in my life. They taught me how to be competitive by letting me reach some goals and win some competitions so I wanted to continue to compete. They also taught me how to be passionate about what I do. These pistols helped me find something that I really liked doing and wanted to continue to do and taught me how important it is to have passion for what I am doing. This sport has also made me a determined individual because I want to work hard and get better so I can continue to be competitive in competitions so I can win and advance. They finally made me into the person I am today because they’ve taught me to respect and to appreciate the small things . I can see the progress within all 13 years I have been doing this. This year I went to Coeur d'alene, ID . It was the Idaho State shoot this year and I had some tough competition. I pulled through and got the win. This was my first win of the year and a huge confidence booster. I then had the idea of going to the Western Regionals in Las Vegas, NV. I went there and met people from all over the US, I was able to socialize with all my new friends and still go out and show I meant business. I then went on to become the North West Regionals Men's 1 champion. That was in the last week of July, 2017. I am now preparing for the World's competition which is being held in Amarillo, TX. It starts on October 18th and ends the 24th. This will be the biggest challenge of my shooting career and I hope to come home with a hefty
