My devotion to learning has always been an essential part of my life, and my passion for it has lead me to decide to continue my education at Salisbury University. Growing up in Salisbury, I very frequently heard my peers saying they wouldn't attend Salisbury University, because they wanted to get away from home. Early on, I was aware that skewed way of thinking wouldn't influence my college search, because of the involvement with the school I had already had. When I was in the seventh grade, I attended Maryland Summer Center for the Arts, which was a camp held at Salisbury University, and the moment I fell in love with the school. Throughout my years of high school, being involved has been one of my favorite things, and I plan to continue that involvement throughout my college years. I am aware of Salisbury's plethora of opportunities to get involved, and I plan on trying out as many clubs as it takes to find my place in Salisbury University. I also plan to look into working on campus, and hopefully in my later college years being able to participate in the Psychology departments research over the summer. Aside from the obvious ways to contribute, I have some unique qualities I can offer to the community to benefit it. I have a passion for Salisbury University as a school, and would love to inspire that in others, through organizing events and helping out with the University's functions. I love getting involved and helping others feel welcomed and accepted into whatever community I'm a part of, including Salisbury University's when that time comes. I cannot wait to be a seagull, and spend my next four years doing everything I can for my school, and reaping the many opportunities Salisbury University has to
