For as long as I can remember, I ve wanted to be a nurse. Helping people and seeing a good outcome from it has always been a dream of mine, it started when I was younger I saw my mom and grandma helping different people and nurturing them. Seeing how these people would smile and thank my family for helping them inspired me to choose this career. I love how even the uniform color could put a smile on a patient's face, or even simple things such as just seeing their caregiver. There was once a time when my grandma took me to work with her and although I didn t get to do much, just seeing the workers doing their best and putting their all into the job made me happy and very appreciative of them. I take my education very seriously and I ve done great research on this school, they have great teachers and excellent staff from online sources and my personal experience. My goals while attending ASU are very simple. I want to be able to excel in all my classes and go above my professor's expectations when it comes to my work. While making new friends and having many great experiences during my stay are a plus, my main focus is being able to do the activities that come with being a nursing student. Clinicals is one of those many experiences that I m looking forward to more than anything else, I would be able to work alongside actual nurses and use their knowledge and time working to better my skills. The knowledge learned from clinical training could lead to a job opportunity while being an active college student. Later on down the road, I would like to become a doctor and open a small practice doing what I know and love. To receive this scholarship would be very beneficial for me, it could help with book costs and items for classes instead of me coming out of
